Getminted Bingo
Out there in the virtual world the galaxy of Bingo halls just keeps expanding. It seems that each one is just a little flashier a little more alluring than the one before. These halls know that there are a limited number of players out there, and they are going to have to work if they want you to play your dollar with them. Getminted Bingo hopes that many of you will choose to give them the chance to earn that right. They think they offer a sweet deal. It is our job to find out if they are merely a bad batch.
GlobalCom is the parent company of Getminted Bingo, and this giant is well known in the online entertainment industry. In fact, you may have heard of Getminted’s sister site, Foxy Bingo. By being a part of GlobalCom, Getminted can offer its players a safe secure playing environment that few can match.
This hall receives only the highest marks on design and ease of use. Getminted Bingo really outdid themselves by keeping their customer in mind all the way to the end. When you first log on, you are not blinded by a barrage of loud shouting colors and graphics but are met with a cheerful tidy screen. The site is blessedly easy to maneuver through while still being intriguing. Players still logging on with dial-up will appreciate the restraint in design due to the fact that it significantly cuts down on their load time.
We like easy, this is play time, not work. So it is great to see that the easy style of the home page didn’t end there. If a new or seasoned user finds themselves with any kind of question, Getminted has the answer. They offer players access to an extensive network of help, how-to’s, and FAQs. One that we liked to see was a specific projection of the time involved for dial-up customers. With all these helpful tidbits we didn’t find a thorough guide to the game of Bingo its self. This could be a miss as that is what the site is dedicated to.
Registration is a necessary evil that none of us can avoid no matter how many times we have gone through it in other places. Given what we know it could be, we are pleased to inform you that at Getminted the process was a piece of cake. It also shed some light on a perk we didn’t realize they offered. Players have the option to choose their home currency from Euros, British pounds, or US Dollars. This is very thoughtful and a feature many people will greatly appreciate.
Now at this point anything that could cause a headache should be well behind us. All we should see in our very near future is some bubbly Bingo fun. Sorry friends, we wish we had better news, but there is a bumpy road ahead. We were so hopeful as we looked around Getminted. They had all the pieces in place. Everything from instant access to some very energetic chat rooms, to the unique instant win games for your intermissions was there for our enjoyment. The problem is none of it looks fun. The easy design of the site falls short here, just leaving you feeling gray all over. Also the navigation we were starting to know and love just disappeared into the great “gray,” yonder. We managed to get stuck in a Bingo game. The exit button was apparently just for show, and the button we did need was so hard to find that we almost gave up and just closed down the window. It almost would have been easier to just start over, but we would have been back to the same exact place in no time. This is not a good way to keep the players happy! For all the energy we have spent applauding Getminted’s dedication to their customer, we now feel cheated. Players are blocked from watching any game they are not participating in. You might be asking, and who wants to watch Bingo? Yes, we understand, just bare with us for a minute. New players need somewhere to go to get familiar with the game. Getminted does not give them the option of a guide, and now they can’t even see the game before they play. If they go somewhere else to learn, chances are they will stay there.
Dealing with the folks at customer service did a lot to turn our frown upside down. They responded quickly to our e-mail inquiries with information we could both understand and use. E-mail is the only form of support offered at Getminted and we would love to see them expand that a bit. What we would really love would be a telephone number, but beggars can’t be choosers. On a weird side note, somehow we managed to end up at a Getminted family site. The obvious choice of hitting the link to take us back mailed us instead to Foxy Bingo. We just wanted to share that strange little experience.
When we first got started we thought this whole review would prove to be as simple as the sign in page, we were wrong. Getminted Bingo has quite a few kinks to work out, but have no problem with their games. The fun chat and nice promotions schedule offer even more enticement to play and stay here. In the end you just need to check it out for yourself. Who knows? You may just find your dream come true.
