Blackpool Bingo
If you were to live in a chilly seaside town known more for biting wind than sunny beaches, how would you spend your time? Well for the residents of Blackpool, the answer to that question is simple, inside a warm Bingo hall. Blackpool is known for being the playground of the North. It’s well established Bingo halls draw people in out of the less than inviting elements. Our next question, would the online version of Blackpool be as inviting as the real thing?
One fun fact for you; Blackpool Bingo is not actually owned and operated out of Blackpool. No, a New Zealand based company named Christchurch Casinos Ltd. owns the site and runs it out of the luscious Antigua. Christchurch is a very well looked upon land based company that brings their solid reputation for integrity to the playing field. We are working on a trip to their corporate head quarters.
The real Blackpool might be a little chilly, but like its Bingo halls the online version is warm and inviting. Users are met with a plethora of bright charming graphics that depict the town. Although we have to say the pictures show a much warmer version than we remember. Past that though you will find little else to connect the site with the real place. If your internet connection is not exactly top speed it may take you a little longer to take part in the whole experience. Loading the graphics can be slow, but we have seen much worse. Once inside, Blackpool Bingo is straight forward and easy to jump through. Let your fingers do the walking over to the new user section and you’ll be a veteran in no time.
Veteran though you may be, you may have not come across the software Blackpool Bingo is using to power their games, Playtech. Playtech is a download required system, that once loaded will give you some awesome game play. Yes, you have to take the extra step, but it is more than worth it. The only bad thing is that there is no support for Mac users so at this time you can’t play on the site. We hate to see that because in every other way it is doing so well. So you’re all loaded up and ready to go, log in and look around. There is a plethora of round the clock 90-ball Bingo madness to be had. There is a three card minimum per games, but the low prices of 10p per card make that worth while. When you’re tired of that, go for one of the instant win games in their small but select section. Really your choices are limited only by your imagination. Now I know you’re excited, but don’t get so excited you forget to check out the progressive jackpots. They start big, and just get bigger so pay attention and don’t miss out.
It is simply raining promotions at Blackpool Bingo. We have to say, that we thought Paula’s Gift Shop was a new and different twist on an old idea. The idea is to go ahead and choose a non cash prize, that way if you get chosen as Blackpool’s Player of the Month they just send it to you. It really adds a bit of fun to the whole process. The cash prizes aren’t bad either. When you look at the numbers they are very generous, but it was a little hard to sort through the wording. We couldn’t figure out what to do once you managed to win the prize. All in all though the system is top notch, and players will appreciate the options open to them.
Blackpool’s chat rooms may not be as busy as some of their competition, but we recommend that you take advantage of that fact now. The chat features here work a bit differently as they load in their own window. To us that’s not as cool as having everything in one frame, but it does work well and flows smoothly. The CM’s are lively and energetic, and they do a very nice job of keeping things moving. These rooms may not be busy now, but they will be.

Now should you come across a problem you just can’t wade your way through, customer service is always there to help. Blackpool Bingo has chosen to offer support in each of three ways; fax, live chat, and e-mail. Even though when we tried it we were answered promptly and professionally, we are still left wanting a phone number. When you are really frustrated with something it is nice to be able to talk to a real person. A bonus to their team though. When they were answering our question they also told us that a Flash version of the games is in the works. Now that could be some good news.
This site has it all, everything from prizes to promotions, atmosphere to quality. We feel that there is no place for Blackpool Bingo to go but up. And what could be better for the player than enjoying a quality game of Blackpool Bingo, without having to make the trip to the frigid north.
