We love to be the bearers of good tidings, and today we believe we have some nice ones. Gala Bingo is back! These are the people who for years now have brought you your favorite club, and now they have taken the leap back into the virtual side of Bingo. With all that the name Gala has come to mean in the real world of Bingo it is very exciting to see what they will have to tempt us.
Notice we said they are back. The reason behind this is that they have had an online game before. Gala’s first foray into the World Wide Web was carried out in partnership with St. Minver. They proved to be good students, learning everything they could about the process so that when the time was right, they were able to go it alone. Now with the apron strings sharply cut Gala is on their way to Bingo independence.
One factor that is always sure to ruin a great game is having to worry about the security of the site. Gala has a golden rep in this area and we assure you that this is one thing you will never have to worry about here.
You will also find that this is one attractive hall. Whoever worked on the designs here did their homework and came up with a winning combination. It is one of the best looking games we have ever had the pleasure of working on, and it is so user friendly we could cry.
Why is that? Well, Gala did an upgrade in the software department when opening their new online home. Previously Mac users could not access the site because the software did not support their systems. Now that problem is a thing of the past. Gala now runs Macromedia Flash which supports Mac and a variety of other system so everyone can be a part of the fun. Since you most likely already have Flash on your computer, all you need to do is click, “Play Online Now!” and you’re ready to go.
Once you make it though the doors, it’s probably a good idea to good ahead and create your personal profile. This way when the urge strikes you can play anytime you want. If you choose to tour the hall without registering, then you will only have the option of watching the games in play. Also all the chat rooms are blocked until you take the steps to create your own profile. At this point you are probably used to some kind of perk offered to new players. We love those! We did not love the fact that Gala did not have one. There is a huge gap here that needs to be filled, especially since there was a welcome bonus offered at the old Gala site.
Yes we think that the lack of a new player promotion is a problem that needs to be fixed, but that does not make the whole site a problem. In fact we are very impressed with what should prove to be one of the most important factors around, the Bingo. Here you will be treated to a first class game with all the trimmings. Players choose their own options right down to how large or small they want their window to be. With one of the best parts of Bingo always being the people, we love the chat rooms in this hall. They are simply bursting with people. With all those players filling up all those rooms, you never know who you’re going to meet, or what they are going to say next! The CM’s are great though, they marshal the chat and keep everyone straight, all while managing to not step on anyone’s toes. For those moments when you just need a change of pace, Gala Bingo offers players a variety of slots, instant wins, and casino style games for your full enjoyment.
As we stated earlier, the one area where we found the most to be desired was promotions. Gala does such a first rate job on every other aspect of this site that the hole here really stands out. The hall shows some interesting tidbits in the non-cash sector, but there is still nothing available now. This area needs work, and we hope that it will be addressed soon.
So if you were not already a raving fan of Gala, then you probably will be now. Even though they desperately need some depth in the bonus area, the site as a whole is awesome. If they were never to add any bonuses, Gala is still a first class hall that promises to be so much more than your best Bingo dream.
